011_ About the hometown of whiskey (Yoichi, Hokkaido)
今回は2021年７月にニッカウイスキーのふるさと余市蒸留所へ来訪しました。物作りに興味のある方へ今回はこの場所をご紹介させていただきます。
This time, in July 2021, I visited Nikka Whiskey’s hometown Yoichi Distillery. For those who are interested in making things, we would like to introduce this place this time.
建造あらまし_Construction overview
ニッカの余市蒸留所はスコットランドへウイスキー留学し、日本に本格ウイスキー製造法ををもたらした竹鶴政孝によって1934年リンゴジュースを販売されながら開業されました。
Nikka’s Yoichi Distillery was opened in 1934 while selling apple juice by Masataka Taketsuru, who studied whiskey in Scotland and brought the full-scale whiskey manufacturing method to Japan.
職人気質な品質に妥協しないウイスキーづくりは、今日の高品質な製品群を生み出す基礎となりました。

入場許可について_About admission
2021年7月現在ニッカ市蒸留所は感染症流行地域からの見学来訪を受け付けておらず、レストラン、売店に入るには手指消毒の上、連絡先を記帳の上、滞在時間制限（レストラン60分、売店20分）の来訪が許される仕組みとなっています。
As of July 2021, the Nikka Distillery does not accept visits from infectious disease endemic areas. To enter restaurants and shops, disinfect your hands, record your contact information, and limit your stay (restaurant 60 minutes). , 20 minutes from the shop) is allowed to visit.
今回来訪した際、筆者も手指消毒、検温、連絡先記帳の上、入場を許可されました。
When I visited this time, I was allowed to enter after disinfecting my hands, measuring the temperature, and recording my contact information.
レストラン「樽」_Restaurant “barrel”
レストラン「樽」では、入場許可証を提示し、再度検温と手指消毒の上着席。
At the restaurant “Taru”, present the admission permit and sit down again for temperature measurement and hand sanitization.
食事メニューは豊富で、ノンアルコールの飲料も豊富にあり、様々な来訪者に対応できるようになっています。
The food menu is extensive and non-alcoholic beverages are also abundant, making it suitable for a variety of visitors.
施設入り口に掲示されている感染症対策について
About infectious disease measures posted at the entrance of the facility
トイレにも感染症対策が掲示され、英語併記となっています。
Infectious disease countermeasures are also posted on the toilet, and are written in English.
着席後、食事の際に外したマスクを一時的に収納する紙製ケースが配られます。
After you sit down, you will be given a paper case to temporarily store the mask you removed when you ate.
レストランは各席間を広く確保され、衝立にもビニールシートが張られ感染症対策がしっかりと取られています。
The restaurant has a large space between each seat, and vinyl sheets are placed on the tsuitates to take measures against infectious diseases.
自動車来訪者へはお酒を提供しない旨が強調されています。
It is emphasized that we will not serve alcohol to car visitors.
座席椅子の消毒の仕方も掲示されており、感染症に対してしっかりと対策をしていることが強調されています。
How to disinfect the seats and chairs is also posted, emphasizing that we are taking proper measures against infectious diseases.

今回は英国風ランチプレートとしゃぶしゃぶ（つけたれは２種類選択でき、シジミ塩、ウイスキーを選択）、カクテルを注文しおいしく頂きました。
This time, I ordered an English-style lunch plate, shabu-shabu (you can choose two types of sauce, freshwater clam salt, and whiskey), and a cocktail.
たまたま来訪した日には、ほかのお客がいませんでした。
On the day I happened to visit, there were no other customers.

食事代をお支払い時に立ち寄るカウンターもビニールで感染症対策が施されています。
The counter where you stop by when paying for meals is also covered with vinyl to prevent infectious diseases.
レストラン前に植えられたラベンダー花が満開です。
The lavender flowers planted in front of the restaurant are in full bloom.
売店_shop
売店では入場時に許可証を提示し、再度検温と手指消毒の上入場。余市醸造所の職人が精魂を込めて作った限定品や、来訪記念になる絵葉書などが販売されています。
At the shop, show your permit at the time of admission, and re-enter after measuring the temperature and disinfecting your hands. Limited edition items made by Yoichi brewery craftsmen with all their soul and postcards to commemorate their visit are on sale.
ここでしか購入できないウイスキーなどの製品もあり、筆者もニッカのひたむきな物作りを応援するため若干購入させていただきました。
There are products such as whiskey that can only be purchased here, and I also purchased a few to support Nikka’s dedicated manufacturing.
