北海道もいつのまにか暖かくなり初夏の時期になりました。画像は2022年5月の蝦夷桜が満開時の様子です。

ドライブにはよい時期ですが、愛車（フリードGB6）のエアコンからの空気がなんだか臭う気がします。

そこで自分で愛車のエアコンフィルター交換が出きる良い製品を見つけました。

フィルターを交換

早速、業者には頼まずにお安く自分でエアコンフィルターを交換してみます。

通販で購入し、袋を開封して商品中身を見てみます。フィルターはきれいな不織布が確認できます。

交換に挑戦

エアコンフィルター交換では画像通り、車の助手席側ダッシュボードを手前に開けます。開ける際のコツは横側部分を少し内側に引くとスムーズに開きます。

When replacing the air conditioner filter, as shown in the image, the dashboard on the passenger side of the car can be opened toward you. The trick to open it is to pull the side part slightly inward to open it smoothly.

手前にある白いカバーを外し、使用済みエアコンフィルターを引き出します。

Remove the white cover in the foreground and pull out the used air conditioner filter.

エアコンフィルターが1年ぶりの交換で結構汚れてます。

The air conditioner filter has been replaced for the first time in a year and is quite dirty.

古いフィルターを引き出し、新しいフィルターを差し込みます。UP↑の向きに注意して差し込みます。

Pull out the old filter and insert the new one. Pay attention to the direction of UP ↑ and insert it.

縦横を間違うと、画像通りフィルターを奥まで差し込めません。

If you make a mistake in the vertical and horizontal directions, you will not be able to insert the filter all the way as shown in the image.

フィルターの縦横の向きを訂正して、フィルターを奥まで差し込みます。

Correct the vertical and horizontal orientation of the filter and insert the filter as far as it will go.

きっちりフィルターを差し込みました。白いカバーを装着し、ダッシュボードを元に戻して作業終了です。

I inserted the filter exactly. Put on the white cover, replace the dashboard and you’re done.

すごく簡単で、誰にでも30分もあればできる作業です。走行距離一万キロか1年に1回を目安にエアコンフィルター交換が推奨されています。

It’s very easy and anyone can do it in 30 minutes. It is recommended to replace the air conditioner filter with a mileage of 10,000 km or once a year as a guide.

これからの新緑の時期エアコンフィルター交換でよりドライブが快適になります。
